Prefect for a ploughman’s lunch, our cottage loaf roll made with locally milled stoneground flour is a popular choice. 


Ingredients: Whissendine White bread flour, yeast,water, rapeseed oil, unrefined sea salt.

The sesame seed sourdough contains toasted sesame seeds and is topped with both black and white sesame seeds for extra crunch. This makes delicious toast and is lovely with farmhouse cheese and homemade chutney.

Our prettiest loaf, the beetroot gives the purple colour to the bread while the pumpkin seeds add crunch. A little orange peel and cumin is included to add to the complexity of the flavour, and this is particularly good with cream cheese.

A tasty pink summery sourdough containing sundried tomatoes, tomato puree and black onion seeds. Full of flavour and with a slight kick from the seeds.

Our wholemeal is a more robust loaf in a round boule shape. It is a 70% wholemeal sourdough made using local wholemeal and white flours. It is then fermented for a minimum of 36 hours to bring out the flavours.

Our olive sourdough adds even more flavour to our ‘house’ sourdough, with chopped green olives and extra virgin olive oil.

Barkby sourdough is our ‘house’ sourdough, and uses 90% white flour with a small percentage of wholemeal and rye flours for added texture. It is fermented for a minimum of 36 hours to bring out the flavours in the ingredients.

This yeasted bread is ideal for dips, or as the basis for a sandwich. It is a white bread topped with sesame seeds and salt, and best eaten the day it is baked. 

Ingredients: White bread flour, egg, yeast,water, unrefined sea salt, sesame seeds.

This cookie is made with barley flour and oats, giving a new crunchy taste to a fruit biscuit.

Ingredients: Sugar, Whissendine barley flour, porridge oats, butter, cranberries, raisins, sunflower seeds, eggs, vanilla extract, bicarbonate of soda, salt

Our barley grain and ale is a delicious round sourdough loaf with extra texture from the seeds and grains. The base is a white dough and the grains are soaked in beer for extra flavour.

Pan marino is a small light sourdough loaf made with finely milled Italian flour and a hint of finely chopped local rosemary. It has an extra proving process to increase the height of the loaf.
